I have a 2004 vw 1.6 polo classic the lefthandside main headlight work 100% but not the right handside (the other lights work 100%. Is it the bulb ? or fuse ?
SOURCE: right headlight not working
Look for the headlight connector to be melted or dis colored. If it is melted it can cause the headlight to not work an a new connector will need to be installed. Also check the fuse block. Some cars fuse the left and right headlights independently. It's also possible for the filament to be broken but by wiggling it to take it out and move it to the other side it can start working again temporarily
Testimonial: "It is fused for left and right, both fuses are ok, the connector looks fine and I tried a new bulb in both sides, it only worked on the left."
Your right brake light is fried. The fact that you see rear lights on both sides has nothing to do with the fact that the right brake light is out. Your brake lights and rear running lights are not the same bulbs. Go to Advance Auto Parts. They may even replace it for you. Not a big deal.
