Where can i find the temp sender/sensor on a 2001 olds intrigue 3.5L v6

check relay, check for secondary temp sender (some gm v6's have two temp senders, one for gauge and one for fuel system and fan operation)

can be injectors leaking when parts is warm and expanded or temp sender not sending correct signals to ecu,so get injectors tested and replace temp sender.hope u succeed.

they have notoriously bad fuel gauges and the only thing that cures it is to replace it by going though the access panel in the rear under the seat and pulling the fuel pump and sender unit and replacing them. I don't think you have a tire sensor unless it is aftermarket, I have a 2000 Intrigue and it did not come with a low tire sensor to my knowledge (I do have that on a 2001 Aurora).

Sender can only be replaced. If you actually have a problem relating to oil you will see the temperature gauge rise well into the danger zone. As long as operating temp is normal you can relax when driving and get sender changed at your leisure.

this engine uses a timing chain, chains require no replacement unless the engine is being repaired or the chain or spockets fail

sounds like a faulty sender unit not passing the right voltage which is causing the gauge to read high
