The best way is to use a scan tool to clear the codes, that will turn off the light, also disconnecting the battery over night may work, but no completely sure about that, it varies from year to year.

My car was having the problem I had my ingnition switch change, stater and a new battery and now it's fine.

Have a mechanic check that. If you try yourself, might competely mess up the entire timing.

the immobilizer system is in lock mode. Sometimes cycling the key
will bring it out of lock mode. Turn the key to the on position for 5
seconds, then off for 5 seconds for 5 times or more then recheck.
If
that doesn't work you may be able to reset the control unit by removing
both battery cables and touching them together for a few seconds. This
procedure drains the control unit capacitors and they revert to their
prelearned values.

The problem is that the slave cylinder is right next to the front head of the engine-heat, heat and more heat!!! I put a piece of aluminum angle to curb the heat and installed a fan to blow right at the slave cylinder-PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
