SOURCE: chevy astro van turns over but wont start when

Check to see if the fuel pump is kicking in,
when you turn the key on without starting the van you should hear it kick on for about 2 seconds,

It could be...
A clogged fuel filter...
Blown fuse for the pump..or bad pump relay..
No gas
Bad fuel pump

SOURCE: 2001 astro chevy van 4.3 engines need to set the timing

The distributor in that engine can only be installed in one position. The hold down is built onto the distributor meaning when it is installed and the engine runs the computer is responsible for the timing. The distributor will move a little but won't correct major timing errors.

My brake and hazard lights don't work on my 2001 Chevy Astro Van. Turn signals work fine, running lights work, and the top brake light works fine. Replaced bulbs, no change, fuses are fine. Where do I look...

Buy a cheap multimeter and measure your voltage at the bulb when the brake lights are supposed to be on. You should have 12vdc. Is your 3rd brake light and brake lights on the same fuse? If not, measure to see if you have 12vdc at the fuse itself.

Hi I have a 94 chevy g20 that the blinkers aren't flashing. Hazard lights are working fine. Walk around the van no lights are dead. Check all fuse everything is good. Any help would be great.

check the indicator flasher or relay that operate the blinkers or indicator light & hazard light system, check the combination switch for proper working if problem with it better replace it, if you are not able to solve the problem better take vehicle to nearest GM workshop for proper repair & checkup to be done & get the problem solve
