2003 ford windstar, my heater hose is leaking at the connection to iron pipe, I need a diagram to figure out how to fix

Most likely while you are in there it's time to replace the hose. Saves having to go back if it starts leaking on the other end which is highly likely given the age. There should be a return heater hose, it is probably in similar condition. Diagram may be available via google. Youtube may show you how to. A very bright led flash light will allow you to see and trace the heater hose. You'll need to drain the radiator save the antifreze if new. Replace if old. Any other cooling system hoses need to be replaced? How is the water pump. It's not the leak is it? Otherwise Library probably has repair manual, or may be time to invest in repair manual. Lightly used may be available on Ebay and others. New hoses are cheap insurance against possible failure.

2001 Ford Taurus No Heat I am having trouble with

possibly the bled door is stuck open so only the cold air from a/c works when on defrost vs closing to allow heat to cycle through the system as defrost runs through the a/c system

1999 ford taurus is leaking coolant told heater hose manifold needs replacing for about $500.00

It's very possible it could be leaking and need replacing.
$500 is too much to pay for this repair.
I would get a second opinion and another cost estimate.

I have a 2001 ford taurus and i have antifreeze coming out of the firewall. to me it looks like a plug is missing . has anybody ever seen this before

Yep - if the coolant is inside the car, you've got a bad heater core. The inlet and outlet ports go through the firewall into the engine compartment and connect to hoses there. If the leak is in the engine compartment, the hoses may be cracked from age and leaking.

The lower hose on the fire wall of my ford taurus

When you say "hose" it could be to the heater inside the car. If the problem is outside it's not that big a deal to replace ... however if the break is inside the car, depending on the model, part of the dash will need to be removed. If it is the heater hose they are not high pressure. If they look like aluminum you may be referring to the Air Conditioner lines. If one is leaking you will need an AC guy. (unfortunately) specialty tools is required to evacuate the system, replace the line, do a vacuum test again to see that it doesn't leak, then re-charge the system and test.

My 2001 ford taurus is leaking coolant on the firewall side of the engine. is there a coolant hose on that side that could be leaking?

It could be a hose on top of the engine leaking back there. It could also be a freeze plug on the back of the engine. Its a round disk about 2-3" in diameter and is recessed about 3/8" into the block. Check those out and make sure all hoses are good and tight. Any hoses that are kind of puffed out above the clamp should be replaced
