A Volvo is not a Cadillac. Volvo is now a Chinese company as of 2010. Volvo XC90 has either a V6 or a V8 engine. CTS FO is 123456 believe it or not. The V8 B8444S FO is 18436572.

That is what it is supposed to do, it is a 5 cylinder engine.

volvo parts specialists like - ipd usa or good volvo dealerships & will charge ok of oe part- price about $150-160 - check wether fault code is intake or exhaust adjustment actuator solenoid before ordering .

According to the information that I have (which is extremely limited because Volvo does not like to give up such things) neither the 2.4L, 5-cylinder or the 2,5L Turbo 5-cylinder engines are equipped with downstream air injection. Therefore, there would be no "smog pump". Why are you looking for it?

Engine cylinders 1, 2 and 3 is bank one cylinders 4, 5 and 6 is bank two, so standing in front of the car the the rear of the engine is bank 2. FYI, both the bank 1 and 2 Oxygen sensors (if that is what this question was about) should be changed as one repair, otherwise an imbalance can occur in fuel control due to signal differences due to normal aging of the sensor. Always use high quality sensors like BOSCH (OEM) or DENSO
