You may have a cracked cylinder head or damaged head gasket. Open the coolant bottle and rev the engine, if you see bubbles and get an exhaust has smell then you probably have trouble. Unless you are very mechanically inclined or better yet a mechanic, it’s not recommended you try fix it yourself. If you don’t pick up any bubbles or exhaust gas smell, you may have a blockage or even an airlock in your cooling system
Sounds like you have air in the coolant system.. did you bleed the system after you replaced all this?.. did you replace the thermostat? You might add a comment about why you replaced these things .. and how you know they were failing>
try checking your water pump the fluid just my be sitting there n not circulating or is poorly flowing n also check your heater core it might be clogged might need replaced
Possible coolant leak on hot engine parts causing it to evaporate as it leaks. That would definitely invade the cabin air.
You would need to carefully check under the hood with the engine warmed up and running.
Also could be a headgasket failure between coolant channels and a combustion chamber. This latter problem sometimes shows itself as vapor at the tailpipe after there should be no more visible. You may also detect the odor of coolant there too.
The heat is made in the engine so if the engine is overheated and nothing else is hot, the water is not moving.
I would have suspected a thermostat also.
I would guess now that you have a dead water pump.
