it could be worn brakes for the red dash brake light if you mean the cars rear brake lights in the back of the car won't turn off the brake light switch at the brake pedal has shorted out making them stay on also you say the abs light is on there could be an issue with the brakes/sensors/air in the system if both dash lights are on the red one and the yellow one
it's a break pad sensor, your pads are worn out,if you wait to long, you"ll ware thru the sensor and have to replace it. it's not a hard fix, you"ll have to clear the code to remove the dash diagram, after u fix the brakes, and maybe the sensor, good luck
The red circle means there is an intermittent problem with your vehicle security. If your car starts and runs fine it would be hard to diagnose until it wont start at all.
Check the brake fluid in the master cylinder, it might be low, if it is, use dot 3 brake fluid and fill it. When the fluid gets low, it will cause a red light to come on. Have the brakes checked also, they might be worn.
It's the "abs" light. To find out why it's on you need to take it to your mechanic and let him run a diagnostics test on it. Alot lot of the times it's just a faulty sensor that causes it to come on, but better safe than sorry.
THAT LIGHT IS EITHER THE PARKING BRAKE LIGHT WHICH MEANS YO PROBABLY PUSHED IT 1 CLICK BY MISTAKE SO PULL THE BRAKE RELEASE TO MAKE SURE,OR IT'S TELLING YOU IT'STIME TO CHANGE THE BRAKES.HOPE THIS HELPS
If you log onto this site, it can provide a free download of the original manual, which would show all dash symbols and what they mean. Good luck, Curt https://www.bmwusa.com/Secured/Content/Forms/Login.aspx
