My Mazda tribute 2005 has no power at all what could that be

A lack of power in a 2005 Mazda Tribute could stem from various issues. Here are a few potential causes to consider:
Battery: If there's no power at all, start by checking the battery. A dead or faulty battery could prevent the car from receiving any power. Check the battery connections for corrosion or looseness.
Alternator: The alternator charges the battery while the engine is running. If the alternator is faulty, it might not be providing enough power to the car's electrical system. This could result in a loss of power.
Ignition Switch: A faulty ignition switch could prevent power from reaching essential systems in the car, leading to a complete loss of power.
Fuses and Relays: Check the fuses and relays related to the vehicle's power system. A blown fuse or a malfunctioning relay could disrupt power flow to various components.
Starter Motor: If the starter motor fails, it might prevent the engine from starting, resulting in a complete loss of power.
Fuel System: Insufficient fuel supply due to a clogged fuel filter or a faulty fuel pump could cause the car to lose power.
Electrical Issues: Wiring problems, such as damaged or corroded wires, could interrupt power supply to critical components.
Given the broad range of possible causes, diagnosing the specific issue might require a professional mechanic's assistance. A thorough inspection and diagnostic test using specialized equipment can pinpoint the exact cause of the power loss in your Mazda Tribute.

I have a 2008 Mazda Tribute 3.0 and for a little while now I have had to put it in neutral and roll it a bit ans then it would start but now nothing? Is it the starter?

starter motors are known to developed dead bars in the commutator whee the brush sitting directly over the bar will no complete the circuit
However just rolling the car with out working the starter will not move the starter to a new position
what you can do is remove the starter and have it bend tested and the brushes inspected
The first place to check is the neutral and park switches for adjustment or correct operation
could be a simple loose wire to the starter

2008 Mazda Tribute had the ignition switch change.. Engine is not turning over, no sound at all except a small humming sound. What could bethe problem?

Hi, i take it since you changed the ign switch that the car has been turning over if not then you have to check the wiring. The only other humming noise could be the starter motor its spinning but not engaging the fly wheel. Best get them checked.

Starter relay will not disengage starter new ignition switch new starter when ignition is turned to the on position motor starts relay is removed starter disengages relay socket remains "hot"

the wires at the ignition switch are wrong
the power to the relay should only be hot when the key is in the start position and not the run position

Motor wont turn over with starter on my 2008 mazda tribute

The starter solenoid should click, if it's working. If not then the solenoid or loose connection to the solenoid could cause the problem.
Also check the ground connection from the battery to the engine for a tight connection.
Hope this helps.

I have a 2008 Mazda tribute when I put the key in and turn it it lights up as normal but when I turn it to crank it nothing happens... In the pass I would put the key in while turning it and it would crank...

It could be any of several things. I would start out with some basic testing. Battery good? If yes, then ignition switch. When you turn the key, it makes a connection from the key switch to the solenoid. Check with a test light at the switch and at the solenoid (on top of the starter). If no light at the started, try running a wire from the battery to the solenoid. Does it click/turn over? If no, then maybe starter. .

It's rather like a chain. If all the links are good, then it will start. If any of the links are broken, then it won't. Sometimes a "click" can help you identify where that chain is broken.

Possible causes are the starter, starter solenoid, battery, battery cables, neutral safety switch, and ignition switch.
The starter is mounted on the engine where the engine and transmission connect.
A mechanic would check the small wire on the solenoid for voltage when you turn the key to start.
