My 02 Oldsmobile Bravada won't go into 3dr gear, when I get to 15mil per hr my engine RPM rez really high and don't go any faster, I change the cam chaff positioning sensor and crank chaff sensor

have the OBD read for any fault codes

change trans fluid and filter and a fuel filter might not hert

PICK UP COIL FOR WHEEL CYLINDERS? ENGINE coil? ALLECAROMETER PICKPUP coil or master brake cylinder pickup coil for anti skid brakes? or RPM pickup coil for tach and speedo?

oil needs changed go to a little thicker oil what the car manuf recomends also could be oil pump sending unit needing a filter

Get a service done on it and scanned.

The geabox fluid needs changing, if the gear changes seem jerky changing up and down, the gearbox needs to be refurbished.

when engine is cold remove radiator cap and check coolant level,sounds like it is really low and has an air pocket in it.

There are over 2000 different trouble codes that can store with your check engine light. Probably 30-50 of them (or sequences of them) can trigger limp-mode or safe-drive mode on most vehicles. In your case, I would strongly suspect a problem with the electronic throttle control assembly. For safety, vehicles with electronic throttle frequently limit speed and rpm to very low numbers when a fault is detected to prevent runaway accelerations and high speed collisions. Have it checked by a professional. It may be as simple as a sensor on your accelerator pedal, or the throttle assembly itself could be starting to fail. In either case, it shouldnt be played with unless you have the proper diagnostic equipment (a Tech-2 Scantool) and good repair data.

NOTE: Clearing the code with a generic tool or disconnecting the battery MAY allow the car to reset, and if the problem is intermittant, it may become normally drivable till the next time thr problem occurs. HOWEVER...the technician who fixes the car really should have access to the original failure information stored in the freezeframe snapshot the computer took when it set the code. If you reset the light or disconnect the battery, that info will be erased and make make diagnosis and repair much much more difficult.
