Try cleaning the battery connectors at both ends and make sure the ground at the frame is clear of rust. If that check out, drop the starter and have it bench tested

I have a 2003 chev silverado. The fuel gauge quit working then started working again on an off. Then my radio would go out and the fuel gauge would start working. Now my AC is not working. It's like...

It may seem like the problems are related, but they most likely are not at all, unless it's an actual battery power issue. Your fuel gauge consists of 2 parts and wires to connect them, the sending unit, which is in the gas tank connected to your fuel pump on your truck I believe, and the gauge itself inside your dash. It is most likely your sending unit/fuel pump which sucks cause that's like $350, altho easy enough to replace yourself with very little gas in the tank. As for the radio check fuses, and AC I have no idea...

Car battery installed backwards - reversed polarity. blew whole bunch of fuses. now remote starter not working nor the door lock. viper 771X alarms works just fine. any idea if there is a fuse in the...

I'm sorry to hear that that happened to you. I think that when opposite polarity blows a bunch of fuses, and smoke pours out of the dash, it's a worst case scenario.

I've seen what electrical fires can do to wiring, and it's not pretty.

I'm not sure about the Chrysler 300 from 2005, but commented anyway.

Good luck on repairing this problem. You may need the assistance of an auto electric shop.

I have a 2005 chevy silverado, when i turn my right turn signal on this horseshoe looking thing with an Exclamation Point in the middle of it comes on faintly...can anyone help?

Sounds to me like the backing on the back of the cluster probably has loosend a little. That is the symbol for a low tire pressure. The lamp for the signal is close to it and is showing a little light throgh it so you can see it a little. Not to sure how to fix that one. Those clusters are sealed up preaty good. You can take a few things off of it but not to much with out damaging things.
Now I have also seen ingition switches back feed through the clusters and cause lights to come on. But I really feel (without seeing it) the first thing is what's going on.

Some dash lights do not work

if the headlight switch were bad....all of the instrument panel lights would be out, same with the fuse. More than likely you have some individual bulbs out, to change them requires disassembly of the dash. If you are not comfortable with that disassembly, I would recommend that you consult a shop. If you are comfortable with it, I'd say grab a Haynes book and go for it!
