SOURCE: on a 2006 chevy impala it tells you to tighten the gas cap

There is no sensor for a loose gas cap. What is happening is that the evaporative emission system is sensing a "Large Leak". Usually code p0455. The computer sees this as the most probable cause is a loose gas cap depending on several factors it looks at. You would need to clear the code(s) and see if that was the problem. If the light comes back on, then you have a problem in the system that will not let it seal. Possible solenoid problem, leaking hose / line, etc.

SOURCE: how do I recharge the a/c in a 2006 impala ss

First you need to find the low side inlet valve. It will have a black or chrome valve cover that you just screw off. You will see two close to each other, the one you are looking for is the large one. You will need to purchase 134a freon from your local auto store or superstore. Be sure the hose has a gauge on it as overfilling is not a good thing, you could burst the system. Then you turn the air on Max ac and hook up the hose to the valve you found earlier. Then follow the directions on the can. If you need further help, please ask.

SOURCE: location of crankshaft sensor on a 98 chevy s10

It is located on the passenger side of the engine block just under the ignition module you can see it from underside. The easiest way to see it and access it is to jack up the passenger side front wheel and take the wheel off there is a rubber flap in the wheel well you can push out of your way. I am warning you be very careful removing it mostly made of plastic I broke one off leaving most of the sensor in the engine block had to drill the rest of it out which was no fun not alot of room for you to work. Get yourself a bottle of PB Blaster and keep spraying it as your pulling out before you try pulling out the sensor try to get it free enough that you can spin it around. Hope this helps good luck it fits pretty tight!

Where is the crankshaft position sensor located on the 2006 Chevy Impala SS? I'm trying to replace it?

At the front of the engine on the passenger side. Behind the power steering pump. They rarely go bad. Usually the wire breaks at the plug. To date, I have never replaced one. Again, it is usually the wire.
