Toyota RAV4 1998 engine stopped suddenly.it cranks easily but does not start again. where do I check for fuel pressure?

NEED TO CHECK FUEL PRESSURE...COULD BE A BAD PRESSURE REGULATOR

Fuel delivery system

First crankshaft sensor, also called engine speed sensor, next cam shaft sensor.

Check fuel pressure at fuel rail. Check for spark at plugs.

check battery

The fuel pressure line is getting blocked.Get the fuel pressure checked.

yes you can have a fuel pressure test done at most parts stores as well they will tell you exactly how much pressure it should and is putting out // this they will do for free
as well it may be fuel filter and if you replace the fuel pump its usually a good idea to replace the fuel filter .

also check all your fluid levels and vacuum lines for cracks or dry-rot this will also contribute to starting issues test them by bending them if so then for a few dollars they are easily replaced

however it may very well a fuel pressure issue ...hope this helps and good luck

check the fuel pressure, could be the fuel pressure regulator. also check fire if the fuel pressure is ok. weak fire could cause this
