Sounds like a fuel pump to me. Have your fuel pressure tested with a fuel pressure guage to eliminate a fuel delivery problem. If it cut off while driving, thats a likely culprit.
The one on the left has the ejector attached so that fuel will transfer from one side of the tank to the other. Are there any codes stored for the DIM?
Check with the dealer or research as most modern vehicles have a safety switch hidden that trips when accident jars vehicle----turns off the fuel pump etc.
Actually cuts out while driving, or when at idle stopped at a light or something? If it is the latter, have your oxygen sensors checked and maybe your fuel pressure sensor or MAP sensor.
