Ignition modules fail quite often causing all sorts of hard to find faults. Parts stores can test these so start there. Have you read the codes set? That may give a clue.

Stop using the vehicle

You have converter ruining cylinder misfires,
when you have a check light that flashes

Has to be checked for codes & problems diagnosed

You would need to have the engine computer scanned for trouble codes to proceed.

Could be a misfire in one of the cylinders try changing your spark plugs
