Are you reffering to the alarm or the pass lock system that put the theft light on.....If its the alarm the put the key in the door and unlock it. If its the pass lock system put the key in the ignition and turn it on and try to start the vehicle. After it shuts itself off leave the key on for ten min until the theft light stops flashing the turn key off and try to start it again. This may take a few times....
I have a 2004 impala and every time, I try to start it the security light comes and and it blinks. The car won't start until some like 10 mins, What could possibly be wrong?

Your vehicle was build with a GM anti theft device. There is a chip built into the igntion key, when you insert the igntion key the sensor inside the igntion cylinder will read the chip from the key. If for some reason that communication is broken the computer will think someone is trying to steal your car by using the incorrect key.
The first thing I would do is use another key, if you only have one, go to your local GM parts department & have them make you a proper key. You'll need to show proff you own the car, so be prepared to show your drivers license & registration.
If this doesn't resolve your problem then the problem lies with the computer that controls this system. I would recommend to have a repair shop look at it only if they understand GM anti thieft system. you may need to take it to your local Chevy dealership service department.

PASSKEY LOCKOUT RESET GM CARS 1999 UP
1) Put the key in the ignition and turn to the "ON" position. Leave it that way for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes turn the key and take it out. Repeat this process (2) more times (3 times, 30 minutes total) This should reset the PASSKEY system to recognize your key.
If this doesn't do it u have a part failure and need to have the dealer test the system.

I have replaced the radiator in my 2003 Chevrolet Impala LS. The car started running hot and shut down. Took it to a radiator shop and found a crack in the radiator. I have replaced 2 thermostats in the car already. I noticed water running from under my car today and it seems it was coming back out of the overflow. I am stumped as to what is going on with this car.
