Relays, wiring loom cut, if wired to alarm check the socket or bridge the connector to bypass, lastly there is a control unit if it's wet, it's not gonna work.

Bad light bulbs are a good place to look...have you replaced any lately. Look for a bulb where the filiment may be broke and laying against the filiment below it. I would suspect the stop light bulbs first.
There is a module built into the instrument panel that controls the interior lights. If that thing goes bad, you have to replace the entire instrument panel. Everyone always says check the fuses, of course you would have done that before running to your computer to ask a stranger what to do! The instrument panel is expensive, I hope thats not your problem, thats my problem. Good luck.
take door pannal off there should be 3 bolts in the inside of the door where mirror sits unless its the reflection peace where you have to just get a new mirror
I have a 1997 Ram that had the same problem. The good news is that it can be fixed. the bad news is that you will have to remove your interior door panels and mirrors to do so. Inside the portion of the mirror that bolts to the truck there are a couple of screws that maintain tension on the round swing arm of the mirror. Disassemble your mirrors, tighten the screws and you'll be back in business.
All D/W-series standard and wide-view exterior mirrors are removed by
removing the mounting screws and lifting off the mirror and gasket.
Low-profile wide-view mirrors are removed as an assembly by removing
the 4 mirror brace mounting screws from the door.
the channel came off the glass you have to take the door panel apart either screws or pop the clips out with a panel tool from parts store about 3.00 and then put the glass back on the channel track,make sure the foam rubber is holding the glass in tight or purchase more rubber,about 3 hour job.
