I do not know what having the computer remanned means
If it was replaced or not, it may need an update flashed
Did you Google the problem & check nissan forums?
Slip into service bay at a dealer, from the outside & ask a
tech,I do that all the time,no one will stop you, your going to
parts dept (right & got lost)
my 2003 sentra does the same thing and I have come to learn from other sentra drivers that its just something the sentra does. I have noticed that it will crank right away if you have the air/heat off and you press the break when cranking. Sometimes it even helps to continualsy pump the break to make sure it stay cranked.
sounds like your power steering idle up switch is not working. Rpms should go up when you used your steering. Rhere is a switch built into the power steering system to raise rpms when you are turning steering wheel. It looks like it has a problem.
check your coolant level, it's probably low. if so find the leak to prevent serious engine damage. if coolant level is ok, suspect a thermostat that is stuck in the open position. good luck.
Open then hood while it's idling and listen for a hissing noise. Sounds like you have a bad vacuum leak. Hopefully a vacuum hose came loose and you can plug it back in
Sound like the fan needs to be replaced. If the fan is not flowing enough air through the condensor the heated generated by the A/C system can not be disapated, which causes the pressure in the A/C system to rise, and the computer will shut the A/C system down to prevent damage to the A/C compressor. When you are moving down the road, there is enough air flowing through the condensor so that the pressure stays within a normal range and the computer will allow the A/C system to continue running. Your local Nissan dealer can test the fan system to see if the fan is functioning normally.
try replacing the crankshaft and camshaft sensers, my 2004 sentra spec v had the same problem. It cost me $122 for both the sensers and can be done in 20mins
