SOURCE: ford focus 2007 fuse for

The fuse for the cig lighter is located in the fuse panel located inside the vehicle Location disciption below). The fuse you are looking for is in the number 47 position and should be a 20 amp fuse (see other picture below). This should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you do not have an owners manual and would like a copy, you can email me at [email protected] with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. Don't worry there is no cost for it. I hope this helps you and good luck.

SOURCE: fuse box number for cig lighter for ford 2001 taurus

You can get a .pdf version of the 2001 Ford Taurus Owner's Manual at: http://owner.ford.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=Owner/Page/OwnerGuidePage&year=2001&make=Ford&model=Taurus

It has instructions and guides for finding and replacing the fuses in a 2001 Ford Taurus. It starts on page 146-147.

Always use the specific Owner's Manual for the correct Model Year of a Ford or Mercury vehicle. I recently purchased a 2001 Ford Taurus, and had thought that I could use the Owner's Manual from a 1999 Mercury Sable from a friend. BUT, I figured out that each model year can be very different (before any serious damage happened.) Good luck.

Ok i have a 01 ford windstar the cig. lighter caught on fire. replaced fuse now it and to obd doesnt work. really need obd it is running like u know what. dont know why??

When your lighter lit on fire it could have melted the casings on the wires shorting them together. This would cause the fuse to blow every time you use the lighter. Also it is the same fuse for both the lighter and obd (which in your owners manual will be called Data Link Connector, or DLC). Replace the fuse but don't use the lighter. When you plug in the DLC it should work just fine then try the lighter. If fuse blows you have to fix the wiring to the lighter or possibly the lighter socket.

Front cigerret lighter does not work rear one does where is fuse

Yes there is a fuse. But it is the same one that runs the rear lighter. Probably the heating element in the front one has burned up. Try the lighter from the rear area and plug it in to the front. If it works then all you need to do id get a new heating element. They are cheap and easy to replace. Good luck.
