My mother has a 1999 plymouth neon. it died on her, we traced the problem to the fuse for the fuel & ignition (which was blown). we replaced it with a new fuse & it started. as soon as she drives it for even short distances it blows the same fuse. went through 4 fuses in less than 30 minutes. it is getting fuel & the ignition coil pack is good. she replaced the crankshaft & camshaft sensor a few months ago. PLEASE help me!!
The 98 and 99 neons don't have a fuel filter, they have a fuel screen that is right in line with the fuel pump. If your car is not starting and blowing fuses for the fuel pump, you will need a new fuel pump.
