Wrong loom is my guess as it sounds like it's opening waste gate on turbo.
Why replace loom?
Glow plugs rarely need changing. Loom even less so.
Take it back and this time DON'T GET SCAMMED.
If they won't fix it then take it to ANOTHER DEALER and sue the first one.

sound's as though the vehicle anti theft has kicked in ,was this directly after fitting battery or did the vehicle start and been driven and then this issue arose , if the latter then i'd get the alternator charge rate checked as may well have not recharged the battery when being driven and now the anti theft thinks as there is a drop in power the car is being stolen, contact a mitsubishi dealer for the reset procedure and then check the alternator is charging ok

Driving along lights dimmed, instrument panel died, loss of power then engine cut out & wouldn't start. Starts with a jump but when i turn key to heat glow plug, instrument panel goes mad

I assume there's a problem with alternator. Check the grounding to engine, check continuity of a positive wire between alternator and battery. the energizing voltage should be checked as well. Might be the bad connection between battery and vehicle body grounding. Diesel cars are sensitive even in a little loss of connection and rust in the connection points.

MY 6.0 TURBO DIESEL IS HARD TO START

I drive a 2004 F-350 with a 6.0l. 5 glow plugs are out, have to start on ether when temp is below 40 deg F. CAUTION turn key on, wait for glow plug light to go out, spray approx 3 seconds, start. Should crank about 3-4 seconds then fire off. I work on heavy trucks by trade, mainly roadside service work.

Glow plug warning light comes on after driving long distance or prolonged high speed. Is this serious?

Yes it is to begin with you went over 4000RPM. The reason for the light is inadequate fuel. Once it flashes it will reduce power, You may have water in the fuel, or injector clogged, could be a turbo boost pressure. Mainly add a fuel cleaner in the tank.

You need the dealer to hook up a scanner and do a full diagnostic during this loss of power problem. It is not something you can fix at home.

hi mis fire take place
1.First blocked or worn out injector, second pipe cracked or leaking, third fairly serious either valves or rings, compression check, good luck

2.Diesels dont as a rule misfire. They either go or stop completely, that was until they intrduced all this computerised electronic injection systems.
If a Diesel has a permanent misfire it is usually injector trouble or it has a compression off on one cylinder.
Take it to a diesel specialist and avoid main dealers at all costs.

Turbo lag and lack of power

Hi,
This is the second Vw I have responded to in a fortnight.
Your lack of power I presume always happens when the glow plug light illuminates?
This is because it is causing over combustion to vaporised diesel, I would be looking in the Glow plug timer and relay, as for Turbo lag, I run a E34 6 cyl Bmw Diesel and the Turbo only kicks in around 2,500ish so maybe yours is a little tired or in need of a check up?
Hope this helped,
