The spark plugs are underneath the coils and are good for 100,000 miles. If you do not have a dead skip, don't mess with them, they are expensive. Check your owners manual for maintenance schedule.

What parts do I change to tune up my 2008 dodge caliber

For a standard tune-up, the parts needed include an air filter, oil filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, and spark plug wires. You should also have oil, transmission fluid, coolant, windshield washer fluid, and brake fluid available. A tune-up consists of topping off or replacing fluids, changing spark plugs and spark plug wires, changing the fuel, oil, and air filters, and checking the pressures of the tires. More detailed tune-ups run a diagnostic test on the vehicle to check for any codes that indicate additional issues.
