SOURCE: when in drive the neutral indicator light flashes

Check your ATF cooling system. Your transmission fluid is overheating. This might be after a hard drive. The fluid might need to be replaced too.

SOURCE: 2001 mitsubishi eclipse. Automatic transmission

Transmission may be low on transmission fluid or the transmission fluid pump failed. If it's electrical, you can still get it in to gear, but would not shift gears. Good luck and keep me posted, check transmission fluid level and have the transmission line pressure tested. Before that check all your fuses.

SOURCE: Stalls when at idle after changing battery

When you changed the battery the computer must re-learn the setting again. If it continues have a OBD II reader plugged in and check for codes.

SOURCE: I need to remove and replace the Radio in 2003 mitsubishi eclipse

I WOULD LET THE DEALERSHIP REPLACE RADIO BECAUSE BY IT BEING PART OF THEFT SECURITY SYSTEM.IF YOU DO IT YOUR SELF YOU PROBABLY GOING TO HAVE NO START PROBLEMS.THE PCM WILL GO IN THEFT MODE THINKING SOMEBODY TRYING TO STEAL RADIO OR CAR.IF DEALERSHIP FIX THEY PUT IN NEW RADIO THEN REPROGRAM IT.

Service engine light came on my son's 2003 mitsubishi eclipse spyder today. what does that mean?

the light comes on for emissions reasons.. if the light is flashing then it needs to be taken to a repair staiton right away to avoid emission component damage.. if the light is just on it could be as simple as a loose fuel cap.. the only way to be sure it to have the diagnostic codes read with a tool..
