Hi Leonard.
I would suggest looking in your owners manual. It will give you oil type, viscosity, how many quarts you need, and how many miles you can go between oil changes, as well as oil filter type and part number. If you don't have an owners manual you can go to the Hyundai website and download an PDF/Adobe Reader Document. This should have the information you are looking for. Hope this helps.

I changed a timing belt on my 2006 hyundai tuscon and now the vehicle won't start

But it started and ran fine before this? If YES, then the answer's patently obvious eh? The belt was put on incorrectly, or more accurately, the timing has been set up wrongly. Sadly it seems you'll need to get someone to check the timing and get it reset properly. Best of luck!

Oil light came on 1000 miles short of estimated next oil change, had the oil change done and the light comes on and off 2005 tuscon

Could possibly be a loose connection on the oil sending sensor or the sensor itself may be on its way out. Most sensors are located on the side of the engine block usually on on or near where the oil filter attaches.

To change plugs on a 2005 tuscon 6 cylinder do you need to take the dome off to get atthe rear plugs

Most cars now have a plastic cover over the engine. Generally to reach the back plugs, vacuum hoses, etc. you have to remove the cover. Most can be "unsnapped" by lifting straight up on them. Typically the oil filler tube is helping to hold them down. The filler tube should come of by turning to release it (unscrewing - may be clockwise). I would suggest putting the oil filler back on to avoid contamination in the oil. This will make reaching the back plugs significantly easier.
