you need to loosen the clamp on the throttle body and unplug the map sensor then there are two clips on the other end pull that out and you should be able to pull the filter out you don't need to take the box off.

Then slowly , without removing it, turn the radiator cap at operating temperatue. Until you hear it hiss and only coolant will come out. Do this very slowly andd carefully. The water is hot. Heat up the exhaust pipe to egr with torch and spray with knockitloose or wd40 when not hot. Then remove that pipe. Then remove vacuum hose and the 2 bolts that hold it on.
