When I start the car and put it on Drive D it will not move. When I change the gear to 1 it will move and after driving with gear 1 or 2 for 3-5 mins and put same in drive Down then the car will start moving... What could be the cause of this please. When the car is very warm or after driving for 30mins and above, it will move directly once you put it on Drive D.
This seems to be a clogged filter in trans. Only to be serviced by a transmission repairman or local oil change shop . Beware of some discount trans. Shops , remember they are in the Business ......
SOURCE: gear shift
Do you hear a clicking sound coming from the shifter area everytime you hit the brake pedal, while the vehicle is is "P" park position?? There should be a clicking sound right by the shifter. That's the shifter lock solenoid. If that's not clicking you will not get the car out of park. Let me know what you found.

This is caused by Worn out Clutches inside the Automatic Transmission. You will need a Rebuild on the Tranny. This will stop these Problems.
SOURCE: Maxima - terrible vibrations in low speed
A bad tire, a loose wheel, a loose tie rod end, a bent rim, (tire
balance at higher speeds), a piece of rust or whatever caught between
the rim and brake rotor, or between the brake rotor and hub. Have you done anything to it prior to this starting?
I had this issue and it was one of my winter tires about to blow out, showing signs of weakness.. hopefully this helps!

Sounds like you may want to check if one of your cv axles has popped out of the transmission(usually the driver's side because the right on is bolt into a support bracket).
SOURCE: transmition stuck in drive
sounds like shifter cable busted... pop the hood and look at drivers side, have another person move the shifter so you can locate the cable... then find the arm coming off the transmission move it all the way one direction it will be either park or low range and that should get you moving again...
