Finally solved the problem!
Hope this might help all those people out there with intermittent sounding of their car alarm.
Renault Megan Convertible.
Having taken the car back and forth to my Renault dealer and being told that it would now be OK, it still kept intermittently going off after ten minutes when locking the car. Problem never showed up when I took it to the garage, at least the RAC man that came out on a few occasions heard the problem, and just advised me to take back to the garage.
Never had a problem when the roof was down so the garage kept looking for a fault on the interior sensors.
To cut this story short , It turns out to be that when I lock the car and have forgotten to take out my mobile phone (switched on) which I keep in the centre consol. 99% of the time I remember to take it out, thus the reason for the intermittent problem and the phone is always taken out when I take the car to the garage. If the phone is left on the floor or on the seat no problem, only when in the centre console. I also find it only happens when I am using my Blackberry with full data & Bluetooth enabled. It does not do this with my older mobile phone without data & Bluetooth.

Need to find out if it is factory installed or aftermarket type. If after market installed locate brain which is usually under drivers dash board and simply unplug the main brain. This will kill the alarm till you can have it looked at. Sounds like a pin switch is showing a open contact or the shock sensor is being triggered all to often.. Turn down the sensitive if you can find the adjustment

Disable factory alarm

The alarm tripping is often caused by a bad door or hood switch. Since the hood switch is always exposed to water and corrosion, that one usually goes bad first. Check that out. And no, you can't disable it.

Disable factory alarm

You are not able to disarm the factory alarm on this vehicle. You will need to have it diagnosed. But the issues sounds to me like the key fob is bad and needs to be replaced

What is the tdc? I have no idea where it is located!

what is tdc,
tdc is or means TOP DEAD CENTER, on engine timing terms.
about the alarm, European models cars may be set different than American cars. but if the are the same and this es a original alarm from the actuary, i suspect that is very little you can do, it is posible that you park somewhere were the terrain trembles, like a train near by, or the vehicle is exposed to high winds and shakes, or parking to close to other cars or cars that constantly moving, or near the highway were trucks go by, sacking and moving will make the alarm go off.

Aplique alarm 6 14 keeps coming on randomly

The only alarm system I've had is my 12ga with deer slugs.

It shouldn't be too hard to either turn it off, or find the problem power supply. I am thinking the power to the house may have blinked off and on at some point, and the logic of the alarm is freaking out as a result.

Is there a backup battery for the alarm system? If not you could try turning off a circuit breaker at a time until you diagnose which one is powering the alarm system. If you find one that turns the alarm pad off. Leave it off for a few minutes and turn the breaker back on to see if it will reset itself. If the alarm has a battery backup try to remove it and again turn off the circuit breaker. Also search your book for resetting the alarm system.
