SOURCE: Heater problem on 1995 Olda Aurora

Check the passenger side mode door actuator. This is located under the dash on the passenger side. Once you find it watch the rod as you move the temp lever from hot to cold to see if it moves. If it does make sure that the rod is hooked to the door. If it doesn't the actuator is probably bad or the door is jammed.

SOURCE: change fuel filter on 1995 olds aurora

Hi, here is a step by step guide that will help you with the replacement of your fuel filter.

Step1 Put on your protective glasses and gather your tools. An assortment of wrenches and screwdrivers are necessary. The ones you use will depend upon the vehicle. Step2 Elevate the vehicle. This can be done by using a jack and jack stands, or drive-up ramps. Do not rely solely on a single jack, as this is very dangerous. Step3 Find the fuel filter. The location varies from vehicle to vehicle. It’s a safe bet to start your search near the fuel tank under the body. You can also reference your owner’s manual or call your local dealership. Step4 Remove the protective covering that guards the fuel filter. Most filters have some kind of plastic covering over them to prevent damage, and can be removed by a common wrench, hex wrench, or screwdriver. Step5 Remove the fuel lines attached to the fuel filter. There are a number of ways these hoses might be linked to the pump, such as links, brackets or clips. Use either a screwdriver or wrench, whichever the attachments require. Step6 Cap the fuel lines with a pencil or golf tee, and keep them tilted toward the drainage canister. Step7 Remove the fuel filter from the assembly, noting which way it was oriented. An arrow will likely be on the filter. It should be pointed toward the engine, and away from the fuel tank. Step8 Install you new fuel filter. Be sure that it is oriented so the fuel arrow points toward the engine. Step9 Reattach the hoses and guard.

-WARNING-

  • Do not over-tighten the fuel filter. Tighten to hand-strength, and let it be. Over-tightening can cause damage and fuel leakage.
  • Change your fuel filter approximately every 10 or 15 thousand miles, but more frequently if you often drive gravel or dirt roads. Vehicles older than 10 years might have rusty fuel tanks, which also contributes to clogging.
  • A new fuel filter is cheaper than a busted fuel pump, which is one of the more serious consequences of a severely clogged fuel filter.
  • Sometimes special tools are required to remove the Ford fuel lines and filters. Ford provides these tools with your vehicle or upon request.
  • Make sure that the engine is cool. Any heat could spark a fire.
  • Be sure that the car is secure before venturing underneath. Use a jack and jack stands, or drive-up ramps. Give the car a few nudges to Be sure it will not collapse.
  • Never smoke or light matches when changing a fuel filter.
Please rate and god bless:)

This part is called the auto leveler or air ride compressor. If it has air ride then it is the compressor, If it is constantly running it is possibly the leveler switch that is mounted on the lower control arm that detects the ride height and tells the compressor to kick on.

SOURCE: driver's side heat blows cold in my 1995

you either have a vacumn pull off that is bad or a leak/vacumn leak going to it also you need to check the blend door inside the AC box to make sure it is not stuck/ or something lodged in it to insure the door has maximum travel range

Steering colum is it compatable with the oldsmobile aurua

I have not tried the Aurora; however, the Riviera is compatible from 1995 to 1998 with a slight modification for the headlights wiring at the connector for the multifunction switch under the dash. You will have to add a jumper wire to make your daytime running lights operate correctly.

Where is the fuse box on a 1998 Aurora that will disconnect the power to the vehicle's electrical systems.

The main fuse panels [actually they are small black boxes] are located under the rear seat on the driver's side of the car. There is an auxiliary fuse panel on the extreme left side if the dash which you can see when the driver's side door is opened.

Yes, The driver side actuator has failed, actuator is mounted on passenger side of heater case under the dash, remove close out panel on bottom of dash, remove glove box then turn on key actuate the temp control switches and watch for movement of door linkage and you can tell which actuator isn't moving.

Replacing drivers side low beam headlamp

To replace the headlights on your aurora, theres 2 silver looking screws on top of the headlight assembly under the hood. take those screws out(1 long and 1 short) and CAREFULLY pull forward on the entire light assembly. theres tabs on the far inside of the light assemblies that can be loosened with a flat head screwdriver. good luck.
