Hello Bobby-Jo Hill,

Fix it... or get it fixed...
(as troubles go... not horrible (wear gloves)).

Looking at your owners manual ... ( Red symbol)
Item 19 appears on the attached PAGE 138...

Chrysler 2007 Sebring Sedan Instruction Manual Page 138

Defined as YOUR...
ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL INDICATOR.

If you take it to a DEALER... (I don't recommend)
it is likely their "mechanics" are twice as old as your
Like... "MAP" (Manifold Pressure SENSOR)...

Take it to a RECOMMENDED mechanic... See if there are complimentary READINGS available and get an ESTIMATE.

Your manual indicates the car should still be drivable...
(MEANING a TOW isn't YET required ...
(plan no long trips)).

Once the codes (diagnostic trouble) are written down...
You will have a real idea what you need...
(come back here & repost... certainly take pictures).

Just remember... replacing OXYGEN SENSORS make about as much sense as buying a new thermometer... if you have a FEVER.

Save the money... a collapsed muffler or catalytic converter
could ALSO cause very similar issues... code reading your
On-Board Diagnostic systems is the only really cost effective way to resolve your issue...

Go Click on the ROCKAUTO Link below...
Note a few of the prices... and pay close attention
to EXHAUST parts if you live in a C.A.R.B. compliant state
(like New York or California) purchasing the "WRONG" part
can be HIDEOUSLY expensive...

What I like MOST about ROCKAUTO...
THEY WARN YOU...
(3 engines possible, 2.4 (4 cylinder), 2.7 & 3.5L (V6))

Good luck

SOURCE: 2001 chrysler sebring oil pressure light comes on

The oil pressure light is a serious problem...this needs to be looked at right away, or you face a seized engine (one that no longer moves). It sounds like the oil pump will need to be replaced. The reason the light goes out while moving, is that the engine is running faster, so the worn-out pump is able to create enough pressure to shut the light off. Don't hesitate to get this fixed ASAP! As for the A/C, it could be due to a lack of oil in the system (due to a leak) or a worn out drive clutch or belt.

SOURCE: My 07 Chrysler 300c Oil light comes on,

The warrenty should cover this problem. The oil pressure is a very important part of the powertrain.
As for the engine cutoff, this may be caused by the
powertrain control module shutting down the engine
due to little or no oil pressure to prevent serious
damage. This could be as simple as a bad oil pressure sending unit. But it could also be the oil
pump. In any case I would talk to the crysler dealer
to avoid voiding the warrenty. Hope this helps.
Good luck.

07 Chrysler Sebring still not running right after replacing catalytic converter... please help a gal out!

Stop using it,the flashing light is a Class A converter ruining
misifire,so nothing was fixed so far

Sounds like you have cylinder misfires that ruined the
converter & only the converter was replaced.

The last thing you do, is the converter, AFTER you diagnose the systems to find out why it failed

My electronic throttle control warning light came on what is wrong with my 2007 Sebring?

I have an 08 Sebring and mine has been having the etc light come on and the car will stall..with little to no notice. It's at the dealer right now and they can't figure out what is causing this because the light doesn't stay on once you turn off the car and restart it. It's kind of relieving to me that someone else is having this problem. Hopefully Chrysler can figure out what the deal is with this!!

2002 chrysler sebring 2.7 v6 elictrical problem???

Sounds like a charging system issue. Just because the alternator itself tested fine doesn't mean it's getting power to the car and battery. Charge the battery and start the car (with everything connected normally, including alternator). While car is idling, disconnect the battery (negative post wI'll do). If car dies, there's a problem with the alternator wiring/harness. Once the vehicle is running, the alternator should provide plenty of power. Check voltage at battery (from alternator) and should be around 14V. Check alternator fuse.
Could be the voltage regulator in the alternator going out, which would need a new alternator.

My 2004 chrysler sebring electical is not working.

Check around the MAP sensor area for any connections that may have been disturbed while you were replacing the sensor. Most or all of those functions are controlled by the body control module. I would think that a fault like that would show on the scanner readouts.
