Jerking can be a number of things, as you say you have cleaned the throttle body new filter for the fuel, when cleaning its best to change the air filter or at least checking it to make sure its clean and not blocked up. you can also sometime inadvertently dislodge something in the fuel line and this can limit the fuel, but i would thing it would show more signs, it could need the spark plugs cleaning, it could be a build up of carbon on the plugs and now the system is cleaner the mix is not igniting good, so i would check and clean them, lower rev's need a better spark. i would also check the breather lines from the cam to the intake especially the thine one as this can block up and limit the airflow into the engine. so really its just clean these parts and see if there is any change.

If you think it's the pump ... Find your owners manual to find locations of fuses and relays ... First is this vehicle on level ground? Does it have sufficient fuel level (1/8 tank or more) then have an assistant turn on ignition switch to run position (not start) while you listen under the tank to hear a pump ... it may only make a noise for a few seconds ... is there fuel getting to the throttle body at the input line (it could be the injector) if there is fuel pressure at the throttle body/injector it may be the injector itself) >>>If no sound is heard ... first check for power at following locations >>> Fuses >>> Fuel pump relay >>> harnesses/connectors going to the tank from the front all the way back >>> connector at pump (tank likely will have to be emptied and removed, and you would rather avoid this if possible) >>>pump ... I don't suspect filter, as I've never had one suddenly fail completely
