theres a fuse that could be blown or a relay thats bad,go to your manual for fuse local, location usually on the inside cover theres a diagram of where that fuse is change, same amps.!!,then try horn if its fixed cool if not then its the relay
it could be the contacts inside the steering wheel. if they get dirty or corroded they won't make contact and that contact is what completes the circuit to sound the horn
ensure there is power to the horn with the aid of a friend if so horn is defective. if not you will have to remove the steering wheel and check for connectionsthere
Trace where horn is and place multi meter on dc and connect to horn connector then press horn and see if voltage appears if so its your horn if not its possible your s-wheel or stalk connection. Hope this helps
It could be a number of reasons such as a wiring problem or the switch is bad where you press on the steering wheel to make it sound but the most likely cause I would think would be the horn relay, The horn relay is located in the engine compartment fuse panel. I have given you a picture of the fuse and relay layout and the horn relay is the one in the number 40 position. I hope this helps and good luck.
possible horn itself is faulty and needs replacing. you will need to locate where the horn is and apply power to the horn from the battery. if the horn sounds then you know that it is a broken wire th=o the horn
Sounds like the switch in the steering wheel is stuck if the horn won't stop sounding. They get rusty and stick. Sometimes you can take apart and sand them.
Maybe horn became unplugged. Put 12 v power to horn make sure horn works. Put test light on terminal on horn have someone press the horn button, if light comes on and horn does not blow you may need new horn. if light does not come on you may have bad contact at horn button, blown fuse, broken wire, bad horn relay or possibly just a bad ground.
