I had a 2000 safari van the 2 time I had this problem it was due to the vacuum hose break. The vacuum hoses on my van melted holes in them by laying on hot part of the engine. You could have breaks or loose connection.

SOURCE: air conditioning silverado

The problem is in the heater box. To be more specific, the blend door. Check blend door operation and blend door motor. Located right side under dash. Remove blend door motor, with vehicle running, move switch from panel to defog and see if blend door motor moves.

SOURCE: 2003 chevy avalance a/c blower moter runs with

If you have the automatic climate control and the blower motor won't shut off then you have a failing Blower motor speed control module. Something inside this module goes bad and the result is a blower motor that keeps running at times even though the engine is off and the key is out of the ignition. The module isn't repairable but has to be replaced. I believe it is located behind the passenger side of the dash panel.

'94 Silverado heat/ac fan not blowing. Hear clicking when selecting l,m, and high but not blowing

94 CHEVY Silverado ????,heat/ac fan not blowing. K1500?????? Hear clicking when selecting l'm, SET high but not blowing! WITH AIR OR NO A/C? FIRST IS FUSES, MAKE SURE THE BLOWER FUSE IS NOT BLOWN.
EASY NO? CHECK ALL FUSES FIRST. ON ALL ELECTRICS FAILING OF ANY KIND.
BAD FUSE, BAD WIRINIG , BAD CONNECTIONS. OR EVEN BAD RELAYS TO THE BLOWER OR BAD SWITCH BLOW.
THE OLD CARS , HAD A SPEED BLOW , RESISTOR BLOCK
THAT FAILS ON ALL SPEEDS BUT HIGH, SO ITS NOT THAT.
OWN A VOLT METER????
HERE IT IS, ANY OF THIS CAN FAIL THIS OLD
WE USES A VOLTMETER TO FIND THE POINT OF FAILURE.
A SHORTED BLOWER MOTOR CAN BLOW LEFT SIDE TOP
FUSABLE LINK.RIGHT FUSE BLOWN MAKES THE CONTROLLER DEAD.

2001 chevy silverado heater /a/c blower is working in all speed positions , but not any volume of air out the vents

check your owners manual and see if you have an inside cab air filter for the heater/air cond. When they get clogged, they restrict the air flow.

Why is the blower not blow strong air out i put new moter in but it still does not blow good

do all of the fan speeds work? if not you need to replace the blower motor resister. If all of the fan speeds work then you need to clean or replace your in cabin air filter. When this filter gets clogged you get very little air flow from your vents. Instructions for your cabin air filter service are in your owner's manual

Air and heat dont blow hard any more

Sounds like you have a bad blower moter resistor.
The resistor assembly is located on the heater box module
under the dash near the blower moter. Hope this helps.

What are the signs of a blower moter going out

Usually gets noisy. May be fluctuating levels of air, but that is very hard to measure. No air flow is a sign of failure. (((SMILE)))

On a '94 Caprice, I would not be in a hurry to change out the blower motor till failure, at $200 or more, I'd guess, because some other system may fail and render the vehicle worthless.
