I think that series uses a clutch position sensor, If so it should be up under the clutch pedal itself. Or it may be on the side of the clutch pedal away from the firewall.

SOURCE: fuel pump switch

also known as the inertia switch is located on the left kick panel area by the emergency brake pedal . 90 full size bronko .

SOURCE: firing order for 1989 full size ford bronco 302

13726548 #1 cyl is front pass side and count to back 1234 are on pass side.5678 are on driver side.# 5 being front

SOURCE: 1989 Bronco starts but dies after a couple of seconds

try checking the thermostat control senser. it caused my bronco to start for a second and then die. after a while it would finally start and run for a while then die driving down the road. i changed the thermostat control senser and it fixed all problems of dieing

SOURCE: No power to fuel pump

Hi..my name is Keith..and the 2 things that i know of...that will not let power go to the fuel pump is 1..the fuel pump relay being bad..or 2..that something has tripped the Inertia Switch...and it needs resetting..i hope this will help

Next time you have occasion to pull the instrument cluster. I suggest you remove that pesky bulb and be done with it! That "anti -lock" system was a joke anyway. Who puts "anti-lock" on the REAR??????????
They really didn't think this through did they!
Oh and just one more little pet peeve of mine.
ALL FULL SIZE BRONCOS ARE 4X4!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND ALL FULL SIZE TOPS COME OFF TOO!!!!!!!

1989 ford bronco full size need to know where or if it has a fuel cut off switch

the right front kick panel covers up the fuel cut off swith. take the kick panel off and a small box with a buttom will appear
press the button in to reset the fuel supply

No power to electric fuel pump 88 5L 302

check the fuel pump relay this sends the power to the fuel pump,

also has the car been in a smash even a small one if so the car may be fit with a enersher switch that cuts off the fuel circuit.

recommend you by a repair manual from your local parts retailer for the exact locations of these 2 units
