SOURCE: 2001 oldsmobile alero window off track,

first remove the door panel there are three screws that need to be removed first 2 under the inside door handle and 1 on the lower left hand side behind a reflector then pull off the panel it will be held on by push clips, once inside move the plastic weather bearrer to the side ,run the window half way down you should see 2 window holding brackets pull the window up so you can drop it in the brackets, first get some black window adhesive fill the brackets with adhesive put window in brackets and roll it up and leave it up for 24 hrs.If the brackets are broken you will have to replace the whole window motor assemly which you can get on line for 89.00 not the 250.00 at dealer and you can install it yourself its easy to do.

SOURCE: Driver side window won't raise up!

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To resolve the issue you are facing with push the unlock button once on the factory remote=unlock all 4 doors. Hit unlock a second time=all four windows down. When exiting vehicle hit the lock button on remote=all 4 windows all the way up. Also, all four window controls on the driver’s door panel are one touch up and down on master window switch. Remove the door panel by prying it off. But be careful not to damage the panel. Now unscrew the top of the panel and the area by the arm rest. Once you get the panel off, then you will see how the switch is mounted into the door panel from inside. If the switch has gone bad this is required to be replaced. Remove the old switch and connect the new one.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

SOURCE: driver side sun visor falls down

If you have anything on top of the visor, remove it. If there are any screws visible near the pivot rod, tighten them. You can remove the visor and slightly bend the pivot rod, inside the visor. You can just buy a new one and replace it yourself. It's only a few screws.

SOURCE: Drivers side window has slipped off track 2006 mazda mpv

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Pull back the weather seal and you can readjust the window mechanics.

Window limit switch reset on 2006 murano

You can try disconnecting both battery cables from the battery and touching them together for about a minute and then hook them back up that should reset it. I did it in a few newer vehicles and it seemed to work.

The power window motor is dead. I purchase a used/new one at Rockauto. This is a 2003 Nissan Murano, I took the door panel off and replaced the motor. However in doing so the window fell int othe door. How...

first you''ll need to get it back on track if it's off now and get it, closer to the closed position to verify that it is actually fitting properly, then you'll need to use the power switch to raise the mounts to where they are at the same level as the nylon glass mounts to install the 2 bolts you removed, or, lower the glass, while in the track it glides in, to the point where you can install those 2 bolts. The glass may just slide upward from where it is & then you put the bolts in or you may need to tilt & turn it carefully until you can get it back on track.

Best I can do from here,
good luck.
