SOURCE: I have a 94 v6 camaro and am missing a vacuum line

Sounds like, there is no power brakes if the hose is not connected to the brake booster. There should be a massive vaccuum leak in the engine. The brake booster vaccuum line is a major vaccuum. You should hear a hissing sound when engine is running. Find the hissing noise and replace as nessessary.

SOURCE: Hose from the front differential.

This hose you refer to is the breather tube for the differential. It connects to a fitting at the top of the differential housing and runs up the back side of the radiator so you won't run the risk of water entering the differential if you submerge the front axle in water. Reconnect the rubber hose to the fitting on the differentail.

I need a vacuum line diagram fo a 1996 Chevy Lumina, 3.1. One line that is not connected to anything, is located at the top of the engine.

Sorry I don't have the diagram, but I do have a diagram of the engine and component locations. Your vacuum system is fairly simple. You have a MAP sensor attached to the air cleaner. I have pasted a picture below. It has one electrical connector and one vacuum hose that goes to the intake manifold or the throttle body.
Behind the right headlight is your evap canister. This will have a hose or line running to the fuel tank. Then it will have another hose going to the purge valve. The purge valve should be close by and it has a connector plus another hose that goes to the intake manifold.
Then you have the PCV hose that goes from the PCV valve in the valve cover to the air cleaner or intake manifold. I think yours just has a hose from the air cleaner and the rest is internal.
There is one more vacuum hose, and that is the bog one that goes from the intake manifold (or throttle body--looks to me like there are a couple of vacuum ports on the back side of the throttle body, and there may be a "T" on one of the hoses) to the brake booster. It this one was off, the engine would not run, as the vacuum draw is large. Please let me know if you cannot figure it out from these instructions and provide a picture, if you can.

Where does the vacum hose under the batt go looks like it come's out of the top of the canister then not sure where it hooks up to

If you're talking about the charcoal cannister, that's probably the vent hose that let's air in during purge. It does not attach--it's just open on the end. Are there 2 other hoses on the cannister--one from the fuel tank and one that goes to the intake manifold? If yes, then you're good.

I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado 4.8 v8 engine and I'm trying to locate the EGR valve. Thanks

The EGR valve is on the passenger side of the engine if you are looking at the front of the motor. There is a hose that goes into the intake behind the throttle body and another hose that goes into the exhaust manifold. It is the unit that has an electrical connector going into it.

Fuel lines need connected and im having fuel pump relay problems

HI, Ive just put a 2.6 4ze1 injected motor in a 95 rodeo in oz, the supply fuel pipe connects to the one sticking out at the front of the efi manifold next to the battery & air con hose! Make sure you have fuel in the tank, also you might have to prime the air out of the line by putting a rag around the hose & turning it over with your finger over it. Lightly releasing each time to let air escape until fuel comes out & being extremely careful for fire hazzard & to yourself!!! Then fit to manifold, the other pipe heading down under the manifold must be a vacum or tank breather hose? I hope this helps you GARYB in australia!!!
