The code that keeps coming up is a p1518
P1518 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Malfunction (Stuck Open)
The IMRC system is monitored for failure during continuous, key ON engine OFF or key ON engine running self-test. The test fails when the signal on the monitor pin is less than an expected calibrated range at closed throttle.
An IMRCM PID reading approximately near 1 volt at closed throttle may indicate a fault
It's part of the intake manifold . View P1518 on youtube .

most of the time intake runners are gummed up with carbon, causing imrc problems. removing upper intake and cleaning runners will cost about 300 dollars

There is a technical sevice bulletin for this exact issue. Go to the dealer and request they reprogram the pcm. You should not pay more than a half hour labor, they'll probably try to get a diagnosis fee out of you. Tell them no, just reprogram the pcm to latest calibration. If this doesn't fix it, then repost or pay to chat, but that should fix ya.

I am assuming you have a SPI motor. If so the IMRC(intake manifold runner control) is located on the drivers side if the intake manifold. It is an electromechanical actuator square/ rectangular and has an electrical connector on it.
