Sounds like it might be ignition source...check distributor/ignition coil depending on the year and model for your vehicle. I've had the same problem with 2 past cars
it has a brand new carb, all new tune up. i guess it could be a coil problem but this truck usually dont run at all when the coil goes bad. i adjusted the valves, could they be too tight ?
its an 85 s10 2.8 engine
i had a car that had a loose distributor, after spending thousands on it i finally checked my distributor...and i just replaced my ignition coil on my new car, and now in runs like a monster

SOURCE: Hard Start with trouble code 32
You should have your battery checked, it may be getting old and doesn;t have as much cold cranking power, I don;t think code 32 has anything to do with the slow cranking when cold.
Trouble Code 32 indicates that the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR)
valve diaphragm is not where the ECM expects it to be. The ECM controls
the diaphragm with a Pulse-Width Modulated (PWM) waveform. The EGR has
a vacuum bleed solenoid that adjusts the vacuum applied to the EGR
valve based on this pulse width. If there is sufficient vacuum at the
EGR valve, a switch closes to send a signal back to the ECM. The
absence of this signal is the bases for code 32.
The conditions for setting this code are:
Typical causes for this code include:
1) Faulty EGR valve-to-ECM connection
2) Plugged EGR passages and/or sticking EGR valve
3) Defective EGR valve
4) Defective ECM

neuar06 is correct, the temp sensor is cracked. Mine crack was so small I could not see it. But when tested it was the problem. Technitian told me once it warms up is usually when you get the problems. but could be when its cold also.

Check fuel pressure, and regulator. A leaking regulator gives a warm engine more fuel [ it does not like it] a cold motor does. same as a flooded motor. Good luck
SOURCE: 88 Toy, 22R Carb, hard cold start
in your carburetor there is a priming passage. look in there with the air cleaner out and pump the butterfly it should squirt gas. if it doesn't then you need to open the top part of the carb and clean the hole with a hair clip. if this is not the problem it will be the choke but I'm 70 percent that this is the problem.
SOURCE: Hard starting when cold ( engine cranks normally )
see if your engine has a ECT sensor (temp sensor that delivers information to your ECM) they are installed on the intake side of the cylinder head, it usually has 2 cables, have it checked replace if necesary
