Often when a A/C compressor locks up it starts sending shavings and debris up the line which contaminates the drier and clogs the expansion valve or fixed orifice (depending on which one it has) long before it actually locks up.
You should replace the drier, expansion valve or orifice plus flush the system.
And hope you have not sent debris into the new compressor.
You should always include your make model and year of vesicle when posting a question.

SOURCE: a/c warm low and high side pressures wrong

it could be one of 2 things.
you didn't vaccum it all the way or there is b clog in the system. next time u flush it run about 1/8 cup of rubbing alcohol through it . then push clean air through it. then refill it. if that doesnt work replace the seals on the compressorlow and high side lines/manifold.

SOURCE: ac repair

Your Trail Blazer does not have a rear compressor. It will have a rear expansion valve and a rear evaporator core. Changing the line will depend on exactly where it is leaking. The lines run all the way from the front to the rear so it can be a chore. Do you know which line it is and about where it is leaking? There are a high and low side line, and they will have connections in places. With more info on the location I can look it up on the GM service site and give you more info. Good Luck

On my 2006 ac works good when engine is cool, in stop & go traffic it blows hot air & head pressure gets high in ac, car temp is ok what's wrong

How do you know head pressure is high? Do you have an auxiliary electric cooling fan that is not coming on in this situation? It should be in front of the AC condensing coil. There may be a switch tied to the system that is bad. This switch is sometimes activated by the pressure in the high-pressure line to the condenser coil. If there is not enough freon (134a) the pressure will not be high enough to activate the cooling fan switch. I recently added one can to my system and it made the fan run whereas it did not before adding the freon.

A/c system the high side line gets very hot ?

Yes. One line gets hot and the other gets cold. The freon gas carries hot air out of the passenger compartment and expells it from the condenser. The freon gas changes from gas to liquid and back again.

A/c does'nt get very cold comming out of vents center vent feels kinda cold. left and right vents by the doors is warm. a/c is fully charged pressures are right were they should be hihg and low side...

use a proper AC machine and remove the gas so its weighed on removal and i do think you will find that its undercharged with gas ,most vehicles operate with around 750 grms of gas by weight and i think yours will show about 150 grms of gas so it works but it doesnt get cold enough ,the low pressure pipe out of the valve under the bonnet should be well cold with condensation on it and the inlet pipe which is thinner should be warm to hot ,unless you have operating flap thats not closing properly that is ,but i would stick the machine on it and weigh the gas to make sure before you pull the dash apart

What would cause AC clutch to not engage when ac is turned on 1999 Siverado Z71,It blows air but its hot air even when on max AC someone said that the clutch on commpressor wasnt engaging do you have to...

This could be a few things.
1- Check fuses for A/C
2- Check to make sure the unit has freon
You have a switch on the accumulator that is called a low pressure shut off switch. It prevents the compressor from running when the freon is low. I would suggest if it is not a blown fuse, have a certified A/C repair garage take a look at this.

A/C Cold while driving, gets warms at stop light?

It causes the discharge pressure to rise very rapidly because it's not being cooled to condense the hot freon when it flows through the coil. By the time the hot freon comes back around to the oraface, it's already in it's gas form and there is no evaporation process or expansion. In essence it causes the system to run at it's least efficiency. Hope this answers your question, good luck!
