Could be a few things. Could be the relay could be the motor ore could be the tracks
it it all the windows on 2 ore 4 sides.
If all the windows on all sides that sounds fishy and would be the relay on drivers side.

The module is built into the motor, replace the motor. If it does the full sweep. Turn off the ignition switch at the time it is supposed to be in the park position.

How to raise a car door electric window when it is stuck down

Frequently when an older car's electric window stops working the problem is a symptom of a faulty switch or failing motor. Follow this tip to temporarily resume the operation of your electric window if the window has an "auto" feature that rolls the window all the way up or all the way down by holding the button.

Step 1. Locate a rubber mallet or heavy soft object that will not scratch or break an item when you use it.
Step 2. Turn the car to on position so that all accessories are working including the other windows. Hold the button in the up position (if window is stuck down) or in the down position (if window is stuck in up position).
Step 3. In the center of the inside door panel with the door open, strike the door rapidly two or three times as if you were pounding your fist on a table.

If the window starts moving, it will likely continue to work for some time and this tip can be repeated until a permanent repair is required.

When the ignition switch is in the RUN or ACCY position, or Retained Accessory Power (RAP) is enabled and the lockout switch is disengaged, battery positive voltage will be available at the passenger window switches. When an individual window switch is pressed in the down position, battery positive voltage is applied to the window regulator motor causing that window to open. When the individual window switch is pressed in the up position, voltage is applied to the window regulator motor in the opposite direction causing that window to close. The return path to ground is supplied through the inactive control circuit being normally grounded through the driver window switch.

The front, passenger-side window on my 1992 Nissan Maxima GXE will not close from the drivers master control switch. The ?down? (open) direction (but not the ?up?) works O.K. from this master control...

That would be the first thing that i would do.

Passerger front window does not go all the way to top position allowing noise while traveling (wind noise). When you touch the window control button the window will go up, then down automatically and...

the adjustment is out of alignment, its a safety feature so you dont get your fingers chopped off or smash the window.

you will need to remove the door card/ door trim its easy to do!

inside the door there will be a plastic cover carefully peel it back to reveal the adjustment. Its a 10mm bolt most times although Im not familiar with that model.
you just loosen it off and and move it to the correct position, you can tell where it should be as the bolt will have marked the paint on the inside of the door try to realign the bolt with the mark. that should do it

Also why you are inside the door look and make sure both runners on each side of the window are straight, and one more thing put the window half way down and check that it is sat in its rail correctly as this would also cause this fault. you will need to detach the electric window control panel from the door but once its off you will need to connect the control panel back to the wiring so you can still operate the window while getting the alignment right.

Electric Window on a 1999 monte carlo is in the down position and wedged in the bottom of the door. Window motor drove window down but will not drive upward. Can I drill off the 3 rivets holding the motor...

can you place a thin screwdriver down through the top of door, between the DOOR GLASS and OUTER door panel. If you can, try to raise glss electrically SLOWLY guiding it past the the binding edge. Door glass will need alignment to perrmantly repair

Sticky windows

Have taken car into a dealer and have been advised that if battery has gone flat, the sensors will need resetting, to do this, disconnect freshly charged or replaced battery for two to three minutes, reconnect, turn key to position two and operate window. Hold button down and wait for click (window open), close window and hold button in close position until you hear the click. This should reset the sensors to open and close positions. Juddering maybe caused by build up of grime in slider, squirt some silicone based lubricant into window slider/guide, this should help. If none of this helps, it could mean that the motors need replacing.
