I have a 1991 Buick Lesabre. It starts only about half the time and only stays started for about 1 to 2 minutes at the most. There's a new battery and fresh gas in it.

2003 Dodge Durango (5.9L V8) won't stay running unless you keep your foot on the gas.

Check temp sensor and TPS, throttle positioning sensor.The power control module,"pcm.is a possible thought.Just check all connections. It is always a good idea to spray WD 40 or equivalent in the connections.

!994 LaSabre starts ...runs awhile then turns off. Fuel pump replaced, ran for a week ...now stalling out again. WOn't start this last time around.

If it is a 3.8 engine change the crank sensor,they go bad on the 3.8 engines.

When you say it won't start, do you mean it cranks but won't fire, or it just won't crank? If it just won't crank, you could be having an issue with the starter relay. The often become intermittent before failure. Many owners do not know there is a starter relay because it was added as a recall item i order to protect the iginition switch from burnout. The starter relay is located in the very front of the engine compartment, just to the left of the battery, on the back side of the radiator crossmember.

Just changed the spark plugs and spark plug wires on my 97 lesabre and now the check engine light won't turn off, tried unhooknig the neg terminal on the battery, no help. any suggestions? thanks!

You may try to unhook the battery negative cable and touching it to the positive cable and then hook it back up. Plugs and plug wires needing to be changed will not set a code turning light on anyway. If it stays on you will need to get the code it has stored in it and get that repaired then use a scan tool to turn it off.

I replaced bad sprak plug wires that made my 97 LeSabre run rough. That solved the running problem. How do I reset the check engine light.

It needs to be done with a code reader,auto zone can do this for you for free.

How did you come up with this code ? Not a code in your vehicle !
What type code reader or scan tool ? The only code 1295 is DTC C1295
Brake Lamp Switch Circuit Open

Check engine light on ? Anti-theft system light on ?

Anti-theft light is on. Replaced battery and checked plugs, car will crank but won't stay running. It coded B1295

Anti-theft system problem , your best bet ,Dealer or a mobile lock smith .

Could possibly be the anti theft system. This system can actually turn off your fuel injectors 1-5 seconds after starting. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/
