Acura 1997 3.5 rl lights and horn stay on unless I pull these fuses or take the battery pose off and defrost stay on and dash lights not coming on but my lil brother put the negative pose on positive side of battery and positive pose on negative what I have to do to make it function like normal

Hi, the best thing at at his point is to get a diagnostic review by using a diagnostic computer at the local dealership or garage. Once your car has been diagnosed, you will be able to reset the cpu and the light will go off. its probably just an O2 sensor or egr valve needed.

It's the " clock spring " . Dodge has a lifetime recall / replacement on this part. Somehow it controls the air bag and is tied into the horn and cruise control .

The problem could be an in-line fuse, close to the battery post. If for some reason the cables were put on backwards(temporarily) or the in-line fuse was pulled on or weak, it could have broke. Let me know if that helps.

the ignition lock cylider gets jammed try messing with the shifter my alero has done the same thing to me. the ignition cylinders on these the grand-ams and about five other gm cars with the dash mounted ignition are very ****-poor and a new switch at the dealer is 175.00 and you have to have it fitted to your key as the new one comes without a key
