Which engine?? V6 or the 2.4I? The V6 CKP is in the engine block near the flywheel side of the engine (behind and lower right of the exhaust manifold nearest the radiator) A 10mm bolt holds it in place. On the 2.4 4cylinder, the sensor is at the front of the engine behind the Timing Belt cover at the crank shaft. To replace it, you have to remove the timing belt, but you also need to know some technical things to reinstall the belt to be sure you are installing it correctly. SOURCE: 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.7 all wheel. Crank sensor

Hi

On the 2.7 engine it is located beside the starter. You will have to remove the starters heat shield to gain excess to the crank sensor.

Cam sensor location 3.5 l V6 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

The camshaft position sensor on the 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe 3.5L V6 is located on the side of the engine block, just below the ignition coil packs. It is held in place with a single 10mm bolt. To replace it, you must remove the bolt and then unplug the wiring harness. Once the old sensor is removed, replace it with a new one and plug the wiring harness back in. Finally, reinstall the 10mm bolt and tighten it securely.

No spark on the ignition coils

my car would turn over but wouldn 't start, after changing all the same stuff you did it kept not starting again , so i changed the purge control valve and it's been good so far . seems to be a common problem, there are 2 on the car but they say its the one on the engine they always replace, better check that first to be sure.

WHERE IS THE CRANK SHAFT SENSOR LOCATED

The 2002 Santa Fe came with three (3) possible powertrains (engines). The 4 cylinder, and two different V6 engines - i.e. 2.4L 4 cylinder, the 2.7L V6 and the 3.5L V6.

The crankshaft position sensor on the 4 cylinder and the 3.5L V6 are in the same place - Front Crank Shaft behind the pully (behind the timing belt cover.

On the 2.7L V6, the Cranshaft Position Sensor is located in the engine block (Left Hand Side)
near the flywheel (adjacent to the LH (Bank 2) exhaust manifold.

Note: Left Hand Side means the radiator side (front) Bank 1 is the firewall side.
