Newer cars have dual heat and cold on each side separately and hot on one side cold on other vent actuator not working how to fix you will need to remove part of the dash best take to shop cuz Dash work is not easy and the plastic Clips holding everything in usually break when removing depending on the exact problem location 50 bucks 2 600 bucks depending on what shop you go to

SOURCE: heat works on driver side, passenger side blows cold air.

Did you check your coolant level or was it low and you added to it at some point? If so the system my need to be bleed or worst case the thermostat is going bad.

Blend door for passenger side or blend door motor has failed. Very big job to remove dash and work on it. Except the door motor is accessable from the glove box.

SOURCE: how can I fix

This is either an out of phase issue or a temperature control blend door or blend door motor actuator problem, it can also be the climate control module in the dash, 1st try disconnecting the battery for 5 min's to re-sync the climate control module, if this fails u will need to find out what blend door is the problem or if they are ok replace the automatic climate control module in the dash

SOURCE: 2004 gmc 1500 heat is only blowing on passenger

sounds like you have dual zone climate control in your truck. Most likely the actuator that controls the temp door in the HVAC box

2010 Dodge Journey with 2 zone ATC no heat coming from passenger side but good heat on drivers side. Heater doors seem to be operating okay. Any ideas on what the problem is?

Vehicles with dual zone heating systems have two blend doors - one for each zone. These are different than the mode doors, which direct the airflow to floor, dash, defrost, etc. Apparently the blend door for the driver's side is working, but not the one for the passenger's side.

The heat only blows warm air on driver side it's always cold on passenger side. it doesn't have dual climate control.

It appears the control door is not opening. It may be stuck, or the vacuum is disconnected. It may also have a blockage in there preventing the door from opening.

2010 journey passenger side blows cold air when heater is on

Sounds like the damper flap is stuck or broken if you have the dual heater controll. You can try to reset it by setting both sides to cold shut the car off after you get cold on both sides. Then restart car and set heat to high on both sides. If that won't work you will have to take alook at the door actuator motors. Not much fun but can be done. At this point you may want to take your car to the dealership I'm told the repair is around 500.00 to 1000.00

Passenger side if heating system blows cold air

blend door motor is bad or blend door is stuck. You will need to remove most of the dash to access it...not a beginners job.

Dual heat - only heat on drivers side but adjustable for passenge

The thermostat adjustment control may need to be replaced. Also check the hose on the back for cracks, clogs, or missing.
