I have a 2003 Chevy Venture Van. The Driver side power sliding door springs back open just before locking closed. I have checked for debris and found nothing. Any ideas as to the problem?
It sounds as though one of the proximity sensors is faulty. Also try giving the tracks for the door a good shot of white spray lithium grease. The door may be binding enough so that the emergency reverse is kicking in.
I have a 2003 Chevy Venture Van SL and on the driver side I have replaced the the Remote switch for the window to go up and down about 5 times, NOW I need the swtich to lock
the doors, you know where I can get it online !
Thank you

Check the foam seals along the bottom of the floorboard. I had the same problem and found that, even though the seals didn't look like they would block the door, there were a few kinks in the foam that caused the sensors to think something was blocking the door and kept the door from shutting. I had this repaired by a body shop for less than $50.
The seals that caused my problem were attached to the floorboard track and not the door itself but I would check all of the seals as any kinks or lumps that cause resistance when the doors shut can cause the doors to open back up.
Hope this helps.
