Drain the coolent fluid first. buy a new therostat while your at it since you need drain the system
get the hanes book on your van to see where located at it problay on pasenger side bottom.
Buy new one its a few bolts to take off and rember where the longer bolts go back in and might have to get a gasket for the new one. Buy some RTV Blue its gell to help seal the new pump Rub thin layer on gasket and connecting side. Its little messy with the coolent you will get wet and sticky.
you have buy a few bottle of 50/50 for refill it.
When you get refilled check see if there bleader screws to get air bubles out the system. start up car let run Leave the cap off 45 minutes to take out the air bubles out.
if this helps you give me thumbs up please

I own one of these. If it's a 3.5 engine, (original answer is incorrect, Dodge didn't make a 3.8 that year), you'll need to remove the entire front of the engine. (timing cover forward, because the waterpump is driven by the timing belt)
You'll have to remove the cross member over the radiator. Drain the radiator. Disconnect the transmission coolant lines, remove the radiator. Remove the serpentine belt, harmonic balancer (main pulley, and you'll need a puller, or you'll mess it up), remove the timing cover, remove the timing belt tensioner, remove the water pump. To put it back together, do it all in reverse with the following exceptions.
The timing belt tensioner must be closed in a vise, and held with a heavy pin.
Align both cam timing marks (they're on the top of the heads.)
Insert the tensioner and tighten it back up
It takes some patience, and a few tries, took me 5.
but that's all there is to it.

Make sure it's cool, pop the radiator cap, Remove the shield on the passenger side between the tire and front of engine. Relieve the tension on the serp belt, draw yourself a diagram of the pulleys and belt routing in case the sticker is gone on the strut tower, remove the serp belt. Take the bolts out of the pulley on the front of the water pump (3). Remove the lower radiator hose at the front cover to drain the coolant. Remove the 6 mm bolts holding the water pump to the front cover housing. tap on the pump with a rubber hammer. Install a new gasket on the new pump, and a weap hole diverter in the pump (round black about hte size of a quarter), use old one if there's no new one. Install pupm and tighten bolts snug with a 1/4" ratchet. Install pulley and 3 bolts. Install belt, top off radiator with 50/50 mix green coolant. start engine and run to operating temperature, make sure the belt is seated in all of the pulleys and is running true, radiator fans should come on. Shut engine down and let cool overnight. Check level in radiator and overflow bottle, top off as necessary.
