After replacing radiator, then had code for cam shaft positioning sensor and throttle positioning sensor also removed thermostate and hard wired the fan and believe i had the over heating issue after the radiator cracking because did not surge it after
Code p 0700 refers to transmission control system/MIL---malfunction===causes ---wiring ---TCM
code p 0123 refers to throttle position sensor(TP) sensor A, accelerator pedal position sensor A -- high input===causes ---wiring short to positive --- TP/APP sensor ---ECM
also has low input==causes --- wiring short to ground TP/APP sensor and ECM
code p 1698 refers to --no CCD message received from PCM check all wiring harnesses around the radiator and check all connections
refit the thermostat as it is an important part of controlling coolant flow to remove heat from the water by the fins

i had the same problem, i dont remember the name of the piece but its mounted right in between the driver side headlight and the radiator. its a relay that turns the fans on when the car gets hot. its mounted on the body of the car. there should be wires leading from the radiator to the piece im talking about.... good luck I also paid about 35 dollars for the piece
SOURCE: Where is the cam shaft position sensor located?
It's not that hard to replaced, and can be done with common tools.
3.4 camshaft sensor removal:
Remove the serpentine belt, Disconnect the sensor wire harness, Remove the power steering pump (just remove it from the mount and out of the way), Remove the attachment bolt to the sensor, Remove the sensor, (note spray around the sensor with brake parts cleaner before removal to keep dirt from entering the engine)
To install:
Lubricate the new O ring with engine oil before installing the new camshaft sensor, Tighten the retaining bolt to 8 ft.lbs. connect the sensor's electrical wire, reinstall the power steering pump, reinstall the serpentine belt.
Start the car and go out for the night with the money you just saved, You can pick up the camshaft sensor at Auto Zone and they can also give you the step by step instructions to getting the job done. Good luck and hope this helps. Take's just under 1 1/2 hour to do. You can do it in under 1 hour though if your good with tools.
SOURCE: cam position sensor broke
ok easy fix. this is common on ALL ford w this style cam sensor,3.0 eats them for lunch. the sensor base has bushings like a real distributor, they get wore and fail. you can get new from ford, or reman at auto parts about 100 bucks. they come w the sensor installed but as with either, you need the allginment tool, looks like a little hockey puck, that only come from ford to set up or check engine light wont shut off. it will run without this but poorly. if you need more advice just post a comment to this and ill do my best to advise you
