SOURCE: tire pressure
Chris is wrong, the max pressure on the tire is there to tell you if this tire will work on your car. If the max pressure for the tire is lower than what your car says, you need new tires. Otherwise, use the tire pressure shown on the sticker on your car.

This usually happens when the roads are slick and the tires can't grab. The problem would be if it doesn't go off. If that's the case, then your car should still be under warranty for this. If for some reason it's not under warranty, Look in your owners manual, and find out where the button is for your stability track, usually on the dash board or in the glove box, push the button to turn it off. If this doesn't work, you'll have to go after the sensor and or wiring for the sensor, OR...the light being illuminated is telling you there is a problem and the and your stability track can't disengage.
