I have to spray starting fluid to start when it starts it will run and drive fine but when you turn it off you have to do the same thing agin any ideas
I have a 99 5.7 chevy suburban and have to use starting fluid for it to turn on , ive replaced the fuel reg. and fuel pump is 4years old fuel filter 6months old new cam and crank sensor new distrbutor rotor and cap
Sounds like the injectors are stopped up.Try put some kind of injector cleaner in it.

no and i have not tryed to leave the key on like that its driving me crazy
Fuel system may be draining back. When you shut it off and try to re-start immediately will it start? Or after sitting for a while, will it start if you turn the key to the run position and leave it like that for a minute before cranking it over?
