is the radiator fan coming on and staying on, or not coming on at all?? i was having the same problem, and it turned out to be a fan relay switch which was pretty easy to replace. around 40 bucks, and maybe 30-45 mins.

Bank one stands for the same side as the number 1 cylinder. Sensor 1 is the first sensor in the bank, (closest to the engine or upstream).
In most cases you will find it on the drivers side\left hand side of the engine and above the catalytic converter. Look for it on the lower portion of the exhaust manifold.

SOURCE: Dodge 2002 Grand Caravan V6 3.3 engine overheating/no cabin heat.

Replace the bad radiator hose first.  Second- get you special formulated anti-freeze dye from the auto store and pour it into the radiator.  Third- make sure you got all the air pockets out of your system, cause the coolant system won't work with air pockets in it.  Fourth- Check for leaks by looking for the colored dye.  If it's not the radiator hose, then could possibly be a pin hole in your radiator.  Would suggest replacing all the radiator hoses at the same time while you got the coolant system disconnected, cause you don't want to have to come back and replace another hose in a few months.

2001 SUZUKI ESCUDO (GRAND VITARA). My vehicle can't slow down after drive 70 -80 km if I slow engine off and cant start up without accelerating.

Correct. When you turn off the engine you lose the engine vacuum to the brake boost assist. No brakes. Can't accelerate with engine off.

I have a 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara i just replaced valve cover gaskets and spark plugs now the vehicle does'nt start it cranks but does'nt it has fuel but its nnot

no engine stated, and is an engine question.
G16,J20, or H25?
1.6l, 2.0L or v6 ?
my guess, is you removed spark plug wires and put them back out of order, never do that, always change wires 1 by 1.
or the firing order will be wrong, (cops excepted, coil over plug)

how many coil packs do you have.
1
2
4
6?
we cant guess any of that.

Loud clacking noise coming from the top right side in my grand vitara 2001 v6 i changed oil and filter the noise disappear and came back the next day i changed oil and filter but the noise kept on

you need to be more clear,
top right of body, top right of engine, transmission, axle?
what?>
noises are 99% not good, and not safe, do not delay find a competent
hands on ASE mechanic to look at car, even pay for Diagnosis only !
if the engine makes noise you do need to flat out say that.
if the engine makes noise, we can diagnose where and what it is.
there are tricks, to do that, but do not drive any engine that makes noise or invite total engine destruction. can be.
i can be . bad mounted accessories loose or just bad.
loose exh header clamp banging about (or gasket there)
or cam chain getting ready to lunch the engine. i have 2004 v6. can advise better. but you need to be clear.
you can drop belts off to see if noise stops, for 2min dead cold block.
you can pry exh parts to see of noise abates.
you can use a $5 HF stethoscope to listen to all parts, and hear if they are bad. so easy. good luck to you.

PO135 ERROR CODE

what engine,, 2Lx4 or 2.5L V6?
first off ,nobody needs to do anything, free country still.
but the 135s are clear.
135= B1S1 bank 1, sensor 1,
on 4 banger its the all important front sensor
on v6 its left front bank sensor.
and the code means, the heater in the sensor id DEAD.
or the wire to it melted and is broking off.
the ECU never lies. about this, the current to the sensor is zero. and bad.
you can buy a bosch sensor in any car store in the USA, (all)
you can use the PNP,plug and play or hand wired. both ways
are 100% effective.
what happens is your motor runs rich until fully warm.
that causes, 3 things (top three of many)
1: cold drive-ablity.
2:wasted fuel.
3 : over works the CAT , cutting its life span a lot.

My 01 grand vitara's temp has shot up to almost overheating on 15 min ride, especially when at idle in park. I think it is the thermostat, how do I replace it?

there is a hose that goes from the top of the engine to the radiator there should be 3 bolts holding a metal piece on and a seal on the inside just pull it off and it will come out

2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara cranks but won't start

Most likely your timing chain.
This is a major problem 99 -05 V6 GV.
The Timing chain tensioner failed.
When the chain breaks it destroys the engine.
Unfortunately is an "Interference" engine.
This and the rear main seal are the big problems with these cars.

Vitara 1.6 cuts out

Are you quite sure it is not overheating? Your mention of heavy traffic, ie. stop and go, would tell me that your radiator fans are not working. I had a car with bum electric radiator fans. It worked fine if it was moving a lot. But in slow traffic, it would get warm enough to have a vapor lock or something without setting the engine-hot light.
