My F150 only clicks when I try to start it.

I tried replacing the battery, which was old. I get the same thing with the brand new battery.

Find the starter solenoid and try to read the voltage on it when someone turns the key. it could be a starter or thr solenoid which are both do it yourself repairs with correct tools.

A low battery sometimes has enough amperage to burn relay contacts but not enough to make it work. It's possible that the relay has failed.Starter can also be affected in the same way. Also check battery cables and make sure power is getting to cable and not being stopped by corrosion inside the ends.Use a volt meter and check power...it will tell you where it it drops or stops.

If the positive wire is hot, its connection is bad, check and clean all corrosion at the terminal connections to the actual wire and at the terminal connection to the battery. Do this for both battery cables. Hope this helps, let me know.

95 F150 wont crank

the starter should be replaced. The solenoid is kikcing the pinion out but there is no contact being made to turn the starter motor. I have the exact same truck and before i changed the starter used the old starter tap trick. Tap the starter casing with a hammer and it should start turning again. hope this was helpful for you. Good luck.
